Alternative A

On the following pages are descriptions and detailed maps of each of the alternatives under study in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS).

Alternative A, the No Build Alternative, would maintain the existing bridge and highway. Both federal and state environmental regulations require consideration within a DEIS of a no build alternative, which functions as a baseline against which to measure the “build” alternatives.

The maps below, shown at the June 28 and 30, 2010 Open Houses, depict Alternative A, the No Build Alternative.
