Project Status Update
June 24, 2009
The Stakeholder Committee meeting was held on June 24, 2009 at the New York Power Authority in White Plains, NY. The Project Team briefed the Stakeholder Committee and members or representatives of pertinent groups to assure Environmental Justice. Participants received a general update on the project. Topics discussed included Scoping closure, the Finance Study, Environmental Justice (EJ) and EJ outreach, the Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) technical assistance initiative, and the project schedule through 2011. Other topics included public participation, bridge and transit mode recommendations, and a review of DEIS Alternatives.
