Public Scoping Briefings, October 2011
The project’s Public Scoping Briefings were held from 4:00 to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, October 25, in Westchester County, and on Thursday, October 27, in Rockland County. Boards (5 MB) providing information about the project were on display, and a PowerPoint presentation (1.3 MB) was given twice every night.

Scoping Information Packet (4 MB)
The Scoping Information Packet introduces the Tappan Zee Hudson River Crossing Project, describes the purpose and need for the project,  the alternatives under consideration in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement, the framework for the project’s environmental analysis, and the public involvement program for the project. Comments on the scope of the Environmental Impact Statement may be submitted by 5:00 pm on November 15, 2011. Click here to email your comment.
